Intro to Feng Shui

Feng Shui is an ancient art of living in harmony with your envirpnment. Feng shui evolved over time from a lot of elements, yin yang, the five elements eight trigram.

Chinese Astrology etc. Feng Shui is accumilation of people's life experiences over many thousands of years.Feng Shui is not superstitious or magical, but is rather a process of a person living in harmony by creating it balanced' flow of energy in their surroundings. Feng Shui is not seen as a form of good luck (eg.Chinese Dragon, Chinese Buddha Statue) that can change your life and make you rich, but rather,a,form of healthy, peaceful living.

Our external environment has both a positive and negetave effects on your health and lifestyle.
Feng Shui studies these elements and arranges them in a manner that improves living.
This art of Feng,Shui has been practised for thousands years. During this time followers of Feng Shui learnt that basic house layout ie. where your entrance, bedroom, toilet, stove etc are situated can also affect your health and well being. After much observation, learnt that the same home might have different .effects on the different people living there. Researc also proved that the persons date of birth can play an important factor in Feng Shui.

In the last 7 years Feng Shui has experienced an explosion in popularity in the West. It emerged from the realms of total obscurity to a fashionable trend accessory. Unfortunately, with this explosion came inadequately trained practitioners who achived only mediocre results with an emphasis on Feng Shui as an instant solution to wealth and relationship problems. This has underestimated the true value of this ancient technique, can bring about significant beneficial changes to health, happiness and well being.

After many years of meditation, philosophy, acupuncture and Chinese medicine, I have realized that health, happiness, a positive attitude and a peaceful outlook form a basis of a good life. If this foundation is stable, all other things will manifest of their own account.
